Emerging artist Don2trill has been carving his path in music with a unique approach to sharing his work. By involving his listeners in the creative process, he has not only built a loyal audience but also refined his craft along the way. “Before dropping a project, I like to post short snippets of each song to see which ones people mess with the most,” he shares. “I usually drop unfinished SoundCloud tracks, and whichever gets the most traction will make it onto the project.”
Reflecting on his beginnings, Don2trill recalls the surprising success of his debut track. “Before dropping my first song ‘Ain’t You,’ I didn’t think it would be as big as it was. When I dropped it initially, I thought it would just get a couple hundred views. After seeing what one song can do, it really motivated me to make more music and take my art seriously,” he states.
As his journey continues, Don2trill makes it a point to study his own growth. “While working on a project, I will really try to listen to my previous music to see what areas I can improve, and which things I’ll incorporate into the next project.” With dedication to both his craft and his listeners, Don2trill is steadily building a foundation for long-term success. His willingness to experiment, adapt, and learn from past work shows a forward-thinking mindset that promises even greater things ahead.
