In the rapidly evolving world of independent hip-hop, few names are gaining traction like $e Mars. With a unique blend of melodic vibes and unapologetic storytelling, the emerging artist is carving a space for himself in today’s crowded music scene. In a candid overview of his recent work, $e Mars shared insight into his creative process, inspirations, and what’s next on the horizon. “The most popular song I have created is my song ’Want it all’,” $e Mars says, reflecting on one of his standout tracks. “It’s really about me telling a girl I will get to the money regardless and how she is trying to get me to trick on her. I kind of was just saying stuff but it can make sense if you think about it. I like the song a lot and listen to it daily.”
$e Mars’s raw honesty and unfiltered expression are central to his appeal, and that energy carries through to his latest release. “My latest song is called ‘Excuse me’ and it is about trying to get someone who is hurting you attention,” he explains. “It also might have a little bit of ‘trap’ rap in it but that’s what people want to hear. I really like that song as well—the whole melody of it is really nice and put together. Definitely a daily listen for sure.”
Looking ahead, $e Mars is gearing up for what he believes will be his most significant project yet. “I plan on releasing my next album after I get a feature with a particular artist that I won’t name yet,” he reveals. “The album will be titled ‘True Colors’. The album will be about just really all different sides of who I am, kind of like expressing all my emotions into one big project. I feel like it will be my biggest project for sure, but I do have a release on July 1st that people will have to look out for.” As his momentum builds, $e Mars remains grounded in authenticity, channeling real-life experiences and emotions into his art. With his eyes set on his upcoming album and the promise of new music right around the corner, fans have every reason to stay tuned.
