If it passes the vibe check, then I play it on every set of headphones, earbuds, and studio monitors. My friends test everything to make sure it translates well, so no matter where someone is listening, it’s an enjoyable experience.”
Reflecting on his early releases, xLEEx states, “The first EP I released was mostly throwaway tracks, except for two out of seven, and I was shocked at how many people told me they liked it and wanted to hear more. I had only released it because I needed to put something out.”
On his approach to creating new music, xLEEx shares, “There is always going to be a sense of familiarity for listeners in everything I do, even when experimenting with a new sound. I only know how to be myself, so it will always sound like xLEEx created it.
