Get to know iTaLi: Crafting Moments Through Music

In today’s ever-evolving music landscape, authenticity and emotion often separate timeless artists from temporary trends. Rising artist iTaLi embodies that truth, approaching every track as both a spiritual and creative journey. His process is intentional, driven by feeling, purpose, and self-expression.
“When it comes to me deciding which songs make it onto my album or a playlist, every song has to feel like a moment,” he shares. “I treat albums like movies—every track needs a purpose, a place, and a message. I might make fifty songs in a stretch, but only the ones that carry that divine energy make the cut.”
iTaLi explains that emotion is always his first filter. “I listen for emotion first—how it makes me feel when I ride around, when I pray, when I zone out. Then I think about the storyline: does this record speak to where I’m at in my life right now? The ones that do, those are the chosen ones,” he states. Despite his disciplined approach, he emphasizes that making music remains an enjoyable, liberating experience. “I’m always having fun when I make music; I’m big on the feel.”

Reflecting on his breakout track, “InDaSpot!”, iTaLi recounts how one of his most unexpected hits came to life. “When it comes to one of my songs that surprised me by becoming a hit and connecting with my fans in unexpected ways, my track ‘InDaSpot!’ definitely surprised me,” he shares. “I dropped it just having fun, testing the energy, and it took off with a whole different crowd. It showed me how people connect with authenticity when you’re not overthinking—just vibing from the soul. It made me realize that sometimes the songs that hit hardest are the ones you make when you’re not chasing a hit at all—you’re just being real.”

Balancing innovation and identity is central to iTaLi’s artistry. “I balance experimenting with new sounds versus sticking to what my audience loves because it’s all about evolution without losing essence,” he explains. “I’m never scared to experiment—that’s how you stay ahead—but I always make sure it still sounds like me.” Drawing inspiration from some of the industry’s most influential names, he adds, “My influences— Future, Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and Yeat—they all mastered that balance. I’ll try new flows, new cadences, new beats, but the message stays the same: divine hustle, self-belief, and elevation. My sound grows, but my core never changes. The fans feel that.” In a time when artists often chase trends, iTaLi stands firm in his belief that genuine energy and emotional truth resonate most. His process—rooted in faith, feeling, and evolution—continues to shape his sound and inspire his listeners. As his journey unfolds, one thing remains clear: iTaLi isn’t just making music; he’s crafting moments that last.
