Rising artist Fullyloaded Kd continues to carve his own lane in music, blending energy, storytelling, and authenticity. In a recent conversation, he opened up about how he selects songs for his projects, what surprised him about fan favorites, and how he balances experimentation with staying true to his artistry. “When it comes to deciding which songs I choose to make it on my album or playlist, I choose songs based on energy and purpose,” he shares. “Every track has its own vibe, but only certain ones fit the bigger picture I’m trying to paint. When I’m building an album or playlist, I ask myself—does this song carry the story forward, does it spark the feeling I want my listeners to leave with? My brother/producer AMX Ish and I will run through records, cut out what doesn’t serve the vision, and keep what aligns. It’s not about stacking hits, it’s about curating an experience.”
One of Fullyloaded Kd‘s standout surprises came from a track fans couldn’t get enough of. “One of my tracks that really surprised me by being a favorite by my listeners was Snowball off my album Oppp Blocc,” Fullyloaded Kd states. “People gravitated to it heavy—it’s overly swagged and makes you feel confident, almost untouchable. I didn’t expect it to get that kind of love, but the way fans connected with it showed me that sometimes the songs you just have fun with can end up being an anthem for everybody else too.” For him, growth and authenticity remain the foundation of his artistry. “Honestly, I don’t think there’s really a balance when trying new sounds and sticking to what my audience loves because I’m constantly evolving,” he explains. “Every song I create is unique in its own way, and I respect my authenticity too much to duplicate the same sound over and over. Nothing I make sounds the same, and I’d rather my audience grow and gravitate with me than stay stuck in one pocket.”
Fullyloaded Kd recognizes the importance of giving fans what they love while pushing himself creatively. “That being said, I know a lot of my supporters love when I sit down and actually write, because the wordplay and flow hit different. So, every now and then, I make sure to bless their ears with something familiar, while still pushing my artistry forward.” As Fullyloaded Kd continues to evolve, his focus remains on crafting music that resonates deeply while pushing boundaries.
