From Inspiration to Impact: Scxr Breaks Down His Artistic Approach

In the ever-evolving world of underground music, rising artist Scxr continues to build momentum through raw authenticity and genuine connection. He offered insight into how he crafts his sound, chooses songs, and responds to the unexpected ways his music resonates with listeners.
When discussing how he decides which songs make it onto an album or playlist, he shares, “When it comes to how I decide which songs make it onto my album or a playlist I’d just call up my cousin Jojo, he’s an underground artist by the name of ‘Oso’. And that how we usually receive feedback about our projects.” This collaborative approach has become a core part of his creative process.

Reflecting on fan reactions to his work, Scxr states, “When it comes to any of my songs connecting with fans in unexpected ways I did a remix of Pop Smoke’s song ‘What You Know Bout Love’ that I posted to YouTube which is currently sitting at almost elven thousand views as of right now. Those number of views caught me off guard how fast it grew.” The remix’s rapid rise demonstrates how authenticity can find its audience organically.

When speaking about his artistic philosophy, Scxr shares, “When working on new music, I never really tried to cater to anyone’s ear. It’s more or less like if my music is for you, you’ll feel it. But it doesn’t hurt to feed your community some of what they love.” His balance of staying true to himself while still acknowledging his community’s tastes highlights his commitment to both integrity and connection. Scxr’s approach—rooted in honesty, collaboration, and intuition—continues to shape his identity as an artist. By trusting his instincts and embracing the unexpected, he is forging a path that resonates deeply with fans and sets the stage for even greater growth in the future.
