His most popular song to date, “Unc Wassup,” has resonated with listeners for its heartfelt message and spontaneous origin. “My most popular song is ‘Unc Wassup.’ It’s funny because I was in the studio sleep, I woke up, found a beat, and just started talking about how I felt at the moment. The song is about my uncle who had my back my whole life. He got sentenced to 20 years, and ever since he been gone, it’s like life been different,” 2different shared.
In addition to this emotional single, 2different recently released an EP that further showcases his artistry. Let It Bang is now available on all streaming platforms and features a range of styles and flows. “I just dropped my EP Let It Bang, out on all platforms right now. It’s 10 songs with 10 different flows, basically just showing the world how versatile I am. The whole EP is basically giving you the ups and downs about my life and how I won’t give up until I make it,” he states.
Looking ahead, 2different is gearing up to release a new track titled “Let Me Breathe”—a song that speaks to the internal and external obstacles many face while chasing their goals. “I will be releasing my next song around the middle of this month with a music video to go with it. The title of the song is ‘Let Me Breathe.’ It’s about different distractions holding you back in life that you have to let go in order to get to the next level. Sometimes it takes sacrifices and risk to get where you want. Also, two open mics will be performed to this song, so definitely tune in for that,” 2different revealed.
