Rising artist Zip continues to make waves in the underground music scene, delivering raw and authentic tracks that showcase his talent and dedication. His most popular song to date, BLACK BELT, carries a powerful message rooted in discipline, strength, and mastery. “A black belt in karate is the highest rank a student can achieve and is a symbol of mastery and experience,” Zip explains. “So when I say, ‘I’m a black belt in these streets like Cobra Kai,’ I’m saying through hard work, self-control, growth, strength, and RESPECT, I mastered the ways of the streets. I became the Hanshi of the streets.”
Zip’s latest release, WAR, is a drill track that stays true to the genre’s intensity while keeping things slightly less federal. With a music video set to drop soon, fans can expect another hard-hitting visual to accompany the track.
Beyond singles, Zip has been working on his upcoming album, DOE X ZIP, a project that features numerous underground artists, further expanding his reach in the industry. Additionally, he has just dropped a new single titled OVERKILL, which is currently going through the release process. With a series of back-to-back drops on the horizon, Zip is making it clear—he’s here to stay. Fans should stay tuned because they’ll be hearing from him for a while.
